Lemon Pound Cake
3 cups all purpose flour
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
2 sticks unsalted butter and room temp
2 cups sugar
4 eggs
1 cup whole milk
zest of 2 lemons
Preheat oven to 350 degrees
Mix flour, baking powder and salt.
Using a mixer, blend butter and sugar. Mix in eggs.
Mix in flour and milk and lemon zest
Butter and flour a bundt pan, and pour batter in.
Bake for 1 hour
Optional glaze:
1/2 cup sugar
1/3 cup lemon juice
