Hollandaise Sauce

  • 1 egg yolk

  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

  • 4 tablespoons butter

  • salt + pepper

Whisk together egg, lemon, salt + pepper. Cook on low heat, slowly add butter.

When sauce thickens, remove from heat and serve.
